Alfonso de Gregorio — Founding Director and Principal Investigator.

Cybersecurity technologist, research artist, and strategic policy advisor; speaker at 25+ peer-reviewed international events across five continents, from NATO CyCon and the RSA Conference to FOSDEM and the leading hacker events. Exhibited in art and cultural spaces around the globe, including major museums, contemporary art festivals, and international art biennials, such as the National Portrait Gallery (London), Ars Electronica Festival, and the Bangkok Art Biennale. Visiting Scholar, COSIC/ESAT, K.U. Leuven (2003), he provided strategic policy advice to the European Commission's DGs, the Joint Research Centre, and the EU Agencies. His investigations around vulnerabilities started in the 1990s, with his first full-disclosure on Bugtraq dating back to 1999; he researches solutions for aligning software security incentives; and at times he is reported to be enjoying writing about himself in the third person.
